The devs are making 2fort, they're just keeping pretty quiet about it.

Yeah there was no doubt about them making it or not but it won't make the first release.

I disagree with most these posts except those saying "keep the original layout".
1). Airlifts replacing the outdoor ladders seems cool if the theme fits. 2). I've used an SG on the battlements before cause it suprises the offense, goes up fast, and fairly effectively shuts down the battlements while it remains... though it doesn't remain for long. 3). Teleporters in the spawns is generally a bad idea on small maps. The 5 precious seconds it takes to travel back to position is the one reason the offense has to kill defense. 4). Stop wasting time in these posts to bitch about each other cause i have to read through it. 5). I personally hate when the battlements soldier or the frontdoor soldier fire into the yard. If I were to alter anything it would be subtle changes to the yard. Adding a tropical forest canopy seems a little too difficult graphically, but it would shadow attackers from yard defense attempts. The creek could be made more organic spewing into a natural river or sludge pond or even dumping into a sewer instead of just idle and leading to nowhere. 6). And finally, Openfire missing release sounds sinful. Although I've seem some excellent work done by other great devs, I'd give my abilities to see this map released if no one else stepped up. |
