Unless you don't own any games on the HL2 engine.

You have to have one specific type of card. It looks like you don't have it.

I guess the Radeon X700 Pro doesn't apply either, as I'm getting nothing.

Open up steam, THEN hit the download link. Worked for me and my x1600 pro with no problems. Although I have yet to play it

Hey wait, what if I (had) a Sapphire 9200?

Even then?

Even though it'd be running on the threshhold of exploding?

I've a Rage3d in this computer right now.. is this.. is this true?

It is wonderful!

It worked for me with an ATI Radeon 9600 XT 128mb but uhh, no Source SDK Base and trying to use HL2DM mods returns this:
Quote:
---------------------------
Engine Error
---------------------------
Half-Life 2 is required to run mods

---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Guess i'll go wallhack a bunch of HL2DM n00bs since i've got nothin else to do.

Good luck running any source game with it.

Sapphire 9200 could run source games, Rage3D would ... well, it wouldn't be pretty

Rage3d, ya serious? O_o

Yeah, I know 9200 can run source, cuz I tried the CS:S beta. Close to the end of my computer's life though, it could barely run HL or TFC. Funny how it ran DoD or whatever I played most often though.

Most likely my fault for having shitty parts, or just plain bad luck.

I wouldn't care if Steam was 10kb it doesn't make what they want to do any less stupid.
