problem with hammer

i got this error whle trying to create a cs:s map

I just placed one terrorist spawn where i wanted and went to "check for problems" and it said "no player start" so i added a player start. Run the map..and it said this and when i tried to jion a team it said "terrorist team full" Do i have to make a texture based brush and tie it to a "fuck_spawn" or something? BTW i didnt make any counter terrorist spawns? Could this be the problem? I also took away the player start once and it still didnt work. Please help

Invalid terrorist spawnpoint at (384.0,-128.0,-128.0)

First off, if you start Hammer in CS:S configurations and are making a CS:S game, there is no need of an info_player_start, it's just an error that Hammer gives but doesn't affect anything.

There are 2 things that I can think of;

1. Raise the spawn point say 8 units off the ground. If you notice at the start of rounds in most maps, the players seem to drop. You should have that, so take the spawn and raise it off the ground surface.

2. You have a leak. If it says ****LEAKED**** in your compile log, then you have a leak. I believe it is the "map" dropdown menu, so map>load pointfile, and there should be one with the name of the map. Load it and trace the red line to your hole, and patch it up.

Try those things and if you still get the error then post back.

EDIT: It appears there are two at the same coordinates, just a guess that maybe you have two there by accident?

Be highly aware of leaks in your map, I just thought I'd warn you of leaks.

Read the "Making a CS:S map" in the Source SDK documentation.

ya i read the "making a cs:s map" in the source thing. It says to use a "info_terroristspawn" for terrorist side and a "info_ctspawn" for counterterrorist. And their is no way i can have a leak bc i surrounded the small bunker in the "toolskybox" texture. Anyone have any other ideas?

Are they off the ground? Are you sure there aren't two on top of eachother? Do you have any microbrushes?

Why not post your entire compile log and I'll see what I can do.

Anything in your compile log could cause this, if you don't want to post your log because "someone will hack you" then that's your decision, but don't expect to fix the problem.

One of the best mapping troubleshooting forums (SnarkPit) asks you to post your log if you're having problems. I'm just saying if you want help, you need to, but it really is your choice.
