The simple solution is of course to not play or be involved in content you yourself find inappropriate or offensive. |

I am one of the level designers for School: Source, and some of you are blowing this way out of the water. The single player is a hostage situation, where as terrioists have taken over the school and the player must fight back with other student and recliam the school.
The characters set in the mod are around the age of 18. I belive that in the states you are in school to 18? Thats the plan. The students are not aged 10 or any age near that for that matter. Would students that age fight back? No. So if the students are aged 18, i dont see a problem with it at all. If any of you can code, even in the slightest, give us a shout. No code makes P-Thunder a sad dev. ha! Thanks for intrest. |

there are currently 19 weapons, all of which are modeled.
Trust me, there will be enough without guns |

How is this different than creating a map of a school for Counter-Strike?
In fact, how is different than Counter-Strike? Is one type of killing worse than another? Is it OK for me to kill a cop, but oh my God, to kill a virtual kid is blasphemous! Give it a break. |

differences-
everything that people make mods for -gameplay -player classes -specials -weapon -sounds -maps -etc. I would go into more detail, but there are many things that we plan on, but dont want to spoil anything yet |

I cant seem to wrap my head around this. Is it wrong for some one to create something that excersises there creative curiosity? Is anything deamed 'inapropriate' by some one not alowed to be enjoyed by others who can indiferentate reality with fiction?
Maybe Halo should be taken down? I dont think promoting rival factions killing eachother is apropriate. Nore is GTA for all its fowl language and lude scenes. Maybe any video game with the world trade centers shouldnt be viewed. James Bond games should definately be removed, as these types of acts are illegal. Hell, maybe HL2 should be removed as well... violence and gore could really offend some one. No one is making you take any interest in this. Learn to take control of your own mind. |
