Hadn't even thought about that but I second the audiobook suggestion. Great idea.

a friend of mines has a PSP actualy... he got some kind of software on it and #1 it runs Linux, #2 it runs homebrew... he playes classic nintendo and sega games through an emulator on that thing all the time. I do miss some classic Sega games but I have no need for it.. just throught it was neat.
I have not seen DS homebrew but I'm told it exists. I could play Shinobi III or Ranger X for SEGA for hours on end... I guess I do miss some old-school stuff. Even Afterburner and CONTRA I have so little time now... I've been missing these boards... I got a promotion at work and i'm away all the time and otherwise I log into PoliticalCrossfire to discuss politics/religion/philosophy more in depth. As a russian, I'll tell you one thing... nothing beats Tetris to kill time on the DS ... I even saw a old Nintendo cartridge for old-school Tetris that said "Tetris: The Soviet Mind Game." ... it made me chuckle.. I have an old-school gameboy I still play that game on and its still mad fun. So is metroid III, castlevania II, and bumper rally. Man now I want to play emulator games... Ok, as far as iPod... its overpriced proprietary dookie, IMHO. I went with a Kingston K-PEX 100... got music, video, radio, games, text, etc... and its expandable and cheap-esq, roughly $100. If you're still looking for an iPod replacement, research this baby out a bit. And what the ads dont tell you is that if you have a USB storage device like a keychain or even a full 320 gig HD like I do, it can hook up to the K-PEX via a short little cable they send you... in addition to the fact that you can insert microSD cards into it. Anyhow, I'd look into it instead of that 80 giger. The video screen is bigger than the ipod nano, but I believe smaller than the iPod video. But the K-Pex is higher resolution, so theres your tradeoff. It comes with its own equaliser that works like nothing short of awesome and has its own little OS on it. My friend asked if he could try to slap Linux onto it, and I almost slapped him. Music wise for your iPod, you cant go wrong with the Daft Punk discography... it'll set your brain into *Off mode almost instantly and its fun to listen to. I'd also like to plug for Leonard Cohen, Santana, and The Corrs to a lesser extent. And if for some odd reason you ever want to hear the Soviet version of Metalica, look up music by Lyube/Lube ... they are unbelievable as far as quality musicians, singers, and song-writers. Their guitar riffs only have challenges from the likes of Metalica. And their song themes are almost identical to metalica's. Look me up if you need a translation. |

Personally I don't care for games that are reflex and twitch based...the form factor isn't that comfortable and if it was ideal I think you'd see console controllers identical to the design of the portables.
Still makes me chuckle to see the tools downing the iPOD and the DS ITT as that has nothing to do with what the author asked. But then they don't read well anyway so I probably shouldn't be surprised. |

It's strange.
I don't find it odd that someone on an internet forum is great, but I do find it odd that bl4h would be great. Good luck with the inflated sense of self-esteem boyo. I can't tell if you're trying to fool us or yourself Circ: Yeah I'm a lost cause :< You should have known that. What can I say? I'm a passionate man who is passionate about alot of stupid things |

I love my DS. It's great if you have friends who also own one.
The homebrew on the DS is awesome because you can use the touchscreen as a mouse and keyboard. Quote:

The problem is that I've heard it's very hard to keep a good ratio without posting your own content... |

Looks like I'll have to pick up a new game this weekend since I unlocked about everything in Meteos
Getting all the soul was a PITA and I had to fuse some of it. Time was easy. I still have tons of that |
