Athlon 64 3700+ s939
1GB OCZ ram (Voltage-X or some shit) 2x 320gb 7200.10 Seagates (SATA2 16mb cache) 1x 200GB Maxtor Diamondmax 10 (ATA133 16mbcache) X800xl 256mb Audigy 2ZS LG L204wt (20.1" widescreen) XP Pro corporate I plan on upgrading the major's when there's more DX10 cards out there. I'll probably hit up the Core2duo setup, get 2gb ram, most likely an 8800gtx when the price drops a fair amount or there's some decent competition. And the sound card is coming out to make room for something better, undecided on what yet. |

AMD Athlon XP 3000+ @ 2.1 GHz
512 MB RAM GeForce... coughcoughomgthissucksFX5200coughcoughcoughdiiieee ..... SOON TO BE: Intel Core 2 Duo E63/6600 (If 6300, I will be overclocking it to 3.1 GHz, if 66, higher.) 2 GB RAM ATi Radeon X1950-Pro, OR GeForce 8800GTX I have the crappy one now, should be getting the awesome one sometime after Christmas. Should give me a good "Before -> After" view of Fortress Forever, and it'll also give me a good look at how well it will be optimized, going from almost lowest end to almost highest, ASSUMING it comes out this month. |

Man, I bought an FX card for my last computer. To this day one of the worst decisions of my computing life.

a8n32-sli deluxe
athlon 64 4000+ 7800gt 2gb ram 7 miscellaneous HDs (windows on 2X36go at 10.000 striping raid setup) but if FF is released at christmas i'll be playing it for a few days on a vaio tx2xp laptop.. has long battery life, is very small and all around pretty nifty but probably won't hold the source engine very well (even if i expect to be able to get a decent game out of it with low details) that's the general gist of it.. How do you like your data striping RAID setup? Do you notice a lot of speedup over non-striped in everyday usage?

I built a new PC for HL2 and it's mods (and obviously other games). Don't see whats so wrong with that tbh seeing as I'm a PC gamer.
Anyways... AMD Athlon64 3.7Ghz CPU, 1Gb Memory, NVIDIA 256mb 6800GS ULTRA (PCI-E), 19" TFT. |
