lol BTW it looks really cool i like the base layout. Only one thing...one enterance to base? it looks like theres just going to be a small gate or door to the base. or will there be one trough that water under that bridge? |

ooh, map name ... undecided as of yet. Thinking about it the only thing I can seem to come up with right now is "Solidus" but Im currently undecided on this.
A few extra notes about the map: - Ditching scientific idea, going with rugged metal - The main "door" you can see on the roof of the picture will open and close, I havent decided what's going to trigger it yet, it's just there for some extra visual style (time cycle maybe?) - Yes there will be more than a single entrance into each base, most likely there will be an underground tunnel on each side of the water which will allow you to climb a ladder into side pillboxes near the roof with good coverage of the map (disadvantage will be they are brighter than the rest so dark-sniping wont be possible). There will also be a path from each underground path that will allow you to access the base after a demo blows it open from the inside of the enemy base. As always, these are just idea's and im open to opinions. EDIT: For clarifacation, the side pillboxes im talking about arent the ones seen in the picture so far, they will be center of map over the water. |

There was a guy who actually done this map but it was horrible. You might want to contact him if you can find him. Might be easier to fix a horrible remake than do one from scratch.

Im going to be remaking all the world brushes in the map by going over top of the decompiled version (not but doing a better job than a decompiler obviouslly ) After I complete that im going to make a second pass over adding details to the map. I have no desire to work on an already "horrible" remake. I'll have more screenshots up on the weekend of the progress.
