Scale and tu!. If you want to keep being douchecakes, leave the thread. Your bashing and whining about beta testers is unnecessary.

i personally dont like to know who is beta testing because it is apparent that it was the people who were originally less optimistic about the mod. and probably were only chosen because they had no care to leak anything out cause they arent big in the forum community.
if anything i feel annoyed knowing since its indirectly upsetting people who cant play it yet. |

Going along with what the other testers have said, the movement is extremely fluid. Bunnyhopping, trimping, and all that other good stuff is very smooth. Perhaps most importantly though, it's all a lot more user-friendly. For newer players there will still be a reasonable learning curve in regards to most of it, but it won't be nearly as daunting as it is currently.

my logic is, people who look at the website mainpage once in a blue moon, post once every 3 months, but have better obligations on the internet then to FF. like a myspace whore. they live for myspace and dont care for most other communities. but yet get chosen for this reason.

...or maybe they just don't post here? Possibly just like to lurk?
Not everyone who loves TF games is a member (or active member) of the forums. Alot of these guys have been around in other circles for a long enough time to make a name, as well as public knowledge of their very trustworthy characteristics, which gives them precedence. |

The fact you don't know who these beta testers are proves why you aren't in the beta.

tl;dr but I got the gist of the attitudes flying around
I've been in the tfc community since the beginning. I run a video game beta testing & pr company. I've told mulch and toof that I would be avail to help at any time. They obviously have their reasons for picking the people the do. I have yet and probably will not be approached to participate in the beta, but I'm not crying about it. Why? because the game will be out eventually and that's what is important. As long as they are getting quality feedback on bugs and gameplay then it doesn't matter who is beta testing the game. The game isn't going to be catered to your personal requests disguised as bugs. |

I was wondering if you guys have been keeping up contacts with current tfc leagues like sta & tfl. Are they going to be ready to run leagues right after the release or should we expect a lag?

i do think that the leagues should give at LEAST a month's leeway for familiarisation before kicking off. its just daft otherwise.

I disagree. If a clan is confident enough to begin competition as soon as the game is released, so be it. Chances are, their reign won't last long and the beginning may be their only chance to be in the spotlight. |

The reason why tfc is so dull right now is because its so automatic for the majority of players: the general skill level is so high. I'm excited for everyone to suck again (even if for a week or two). I think it'll be a ton of fun.
