Overclockers Under Investigation!

okay, so i got a letter this morning from stoke on trent city council, consumer protection division. it contained a form asking for any complaints i may have had against overclockers. I still have my P5N32 motherboard, so i might still get a refund yet! gooooo trading standards! |

remember when i was building my pc, they refused a refund for my motherboard? aparently its a widespread problem with them, and loads of people have taken it a lot further than i did. they're getting investigated by trading standards. as part of this, it seems they're getting in contact with all the recent customers.

its not about the sale i dont think, its about the returns. i never had a problem with OC until i came to return something!

The stores I usually buy from ( www.memoryexpress.com , www.tigerdirect.ca ) usually have faulty parts about 10-15% of the time, but returns of hardware are pretty much a 'we don't care why, here's a new one' policy within 7 days of each purchase/return. It's awesome!
