Your lazy recipes ?

You know when you look in your fridge and there's barely anything to eat ? It's a time where you get creative ...so i tried this not so long ago...

You take a can of ( Really just beef stew , with out all that added crap )
and about 1 or 2 cups of rice , mix it together and you get gourmet food!

What about you guys , got any of these lazy and quick recipes ?

Rice works with just about anything. Instant rice with a random compilation of cooked veggies with chicken chunks is pretty damn good.

Uh, lazy recipes... hmm
I guess id have to say pizza or something. Just put some stuff on a frozen pizza.. rucolla salad, extra cheese, olives, ham (stuff like parma ham) and so on is pretty simple and a good alternative if your feeling lazy. Cant say we eat alot of it though.

Couscous salads are also pretty nice and simple to make, just prepare some cous cous and add some vegetables. I think its nice to mix in some meat aswell, spice or marinate it before frying it then throw it in. Some garlic, ginger, oliveoil and basil with a squeeze of lemon or lime makes a good dressing to mix in with it to prevent it from beeing dry and adding that extra little zing. Usually only takes like 10mins to make so its a very nice, simple dish.

Never mix Macoroni and Cheese with Rice. Its TERRIBLE.

Same goes with Macoroni and Cheese and Ramen Noodles. Don't do it!

Frozen hash browns + 1/3 package of ground sausage all fried in a pan with some cheese melted on top (And plenty of salt and tobasco) is helping me solve my huge-box-of-hash-in-the-freezer problem I've been having for a while.

Ramen Noodles in Bread
Drain the noodles of their delicious juice.
Put them between two pieces of bread.
Pretty good and pointless but in those hard times when all you have is a ton of noodles and you need them gone but are burnt out on ramen noodles it works.

A meal where the can says "formed beef chunks" isn't technically "gourmet food".

Sounds like you made a good flavor of dog food, though.

i dunno about lazy, but my fridge clearing recipe is a pot of vegetables (usually leeks, spring onion, swede etc) mashed into some mashed potato, topped with cheese. bake at 200 degrees C until the cheese is golden and crispy!

Lazy Recipes eh? Take thick cheddar cheese and place it on top of slices of ham....broil until the melted edges of the cheese develop holes...cool a little and enjoy with a mayo and mustard dipping sauce.

How is a huge box of hash in your freezer a problem?

Peanut butter sandwiches

-Take the peanut butter
-Take the bread
-Take the knife (with your 3rd hand and spread the peanut butter all over the bread)
-Let it rest for 2 minutes before serving.
