I remember when grappling hooks were enabled on every other TF server, brought a new element to gameplay. Haven't seen it recently, but maybe if it resurfaces in FF we can replace the melee weapon with a hook (can just be a crowbar in a tube)?

Amazing, my joke seemed to have become not a joke. Nice drawing, circ, however I think it'd need a more accentuated hook and/or on the other end from the axe (opposite ends I was imaging when I posted). As it is it's not too different from many normal axes that have a piece sticking off behind the blade. |

Dude I spent like two minutes on it I'M SORRY IT'S NOT PERFECT AND EXACTLY AS YOU VISUALIZED IT GOSH.
I think it'd be easier to swing if they were on the same end, y'know? Rather than twisting your hand around to hit with the other side, plus then you don't have the weight of the axe head to help the swing.

Circ that drawing makes the craxebar seem like it would fit the pyro quite nicely. In fact, I'd like to see a fireman's axe for the pyro instead of a crowbar.

I was just giving my opinion that it didn't look much different from any old axe. I would've given the same input had it been someone else's idea. I don't care much in the end, as I said it was a joke, and wasn't thinking about ease of use either because of that... |

Meh, I like the idea of a hatchet, but then that gives everyone a blade... which means it makes the spy less special... and I figure a swipe in the back of the head with a knife should probably do less damage than swiping someone in the back of the head with an axe and getting it stuck in thier skull.
I like axe, but I reckon I'll throw in with crowbar. |
