grenade question

i noticed that the new conc grenades being round will roll, if true that might make it harder to setup jumps, or will they behave similar to the concs from tfc?

Conc grenades/jumps wont be any harder to do than in TFC. Rolling wont be an issue as we dont expect the concs to move any different to the TFC 'green cube' conc grenades. They may contain a roll animation but that will be just to make the grenade look great.

the rolling animation isn't even necessary.
can't you just apply spinning to the grenade and give the material a strong friction ? (source physics support friction, noticed how ragdolls roll over a hill and not just slide Ã* la UT2003 ?)

So you'd rather it just plop into location than to roll into location? Do you understand there will be no difference in how far it moves with or without rolling. I think it should be pretty cool. Can't say for sure until I play though
