Will just anyone be able to pull of the classic techniques?

There are many classic skills that people have grown to aqcuire throughout the years of playing TFC. For instance, there is the rocket jump, bunny hopping, conc jumping, and most importantly, the hand-help conc jump. Many of these skills are what define the good players, from the best. My first question is whether or not the hand-help conc jump will still exist in FF. My second question/request is that it is not made too easy to master these skills, but rather with much time and practice, that these skills and techniques can be perfected. After all, isn't that same dedication and progress through practice what TFC is all about?

HH will be in FF and all of the skills will obviously require practice to perfect. We're aiming to bring all the special 'tricks' to everyone that wants to learn. That doesn't mean dumbing-down the game, though.

well to tell you the truth...I dont think "CONCS" wher actually ment to be used to jump lol.

some one over the ages might have done it by excident and said "hay i wounder if i can launch myself to nmes fort"

Its ment to be used to throw off the NMe's aim.
so using it on your self gives you the same effect.

ohh well.

we should get to concs. Or the conc u have wont hurt you but only others.

re Groin conc.

This was rejected by the FF team on the grounds it would adversly effect players fertility.

one thing that used to piss me off most in TFC was that hald-held concs were too dependent on server conditions...

i played in australia, and I'm not sure if our servers are just shit or something, but it's really f*^king annoying when you can usually get hh concs 90% of the time, then you play on some random server where you hit maybe 1 in 10 hhs...

is this the kind of thing that can be achieved by the FF team? or are shit hh servers always going to be that way?

i really dont think everyone knowing how to do these things is necessarily a problem. look at tfc right now for instance, there may be 3 players in all of tfc who cant shoot a rocket at the ground and jump simultaneously. what sets the rest of the players apart is their ability to perform these manuevers, and their consitency in doing so. (sorry if someone already covered this, i read the first post and just had to reply)

I'm from australia and used to play tfc hardcore like 15 hours a day :P HH concing was simple as pie on almost all the servers, I never had an issue with it.
