I can't really think of any game/movie/tv show where the sidekick is cooler than the hero.

Although, in MarioKart 64, both Mario and Luigi were awful choices.

Luigi is way better then mario deal with it. Mario is fat has a crush on the prinecess so he can steal half of her money when he divorces her, Luigi on the other hand is a real man and earns his money from working.

The story of mario and peach

Mario a plumber was feeling down because his brother Luigi is cooler then him. Mario desided he would have a fake crush on peach so he could then have some fun with peach. Mario the poor ass plumber goes over to peaches castle and ask peach to the prom peach says yes, They go to prom dance drink punch get thier picture. Mario takes peach to the castle and fucks all night long 9 months later peach had twins (I can't make up the names of the baby its to hard for me.) When mario found out peach had babys he started scream YOU SON OF A BITCH. Mario did not want babys he just wanted to bang peach all along. Mario got a divorce with peach went home with Luigi when Luigi had told mario that Luigi was smart and hired a hooker and weared condoms so thier was no kids, and Luigi had his own bussiness with employes with gold toilets and urenals because Luigi likes gold on gold. Mario has no job now hes out of money, Now he's a homeless guy in alantic city new jersey and has to play the drums for money but his drums were kids beach buckets duck taped on to the side of a shoping cart. That didn't work out so well so he hide on a bus that took him to market street P.A. he robed a store for a steel chair and he robed people of paper bags he sold paper bags had no teeth was fat and sat on the chair.

Sigh, everytime I check on this thread it's seems to be going downhill. Regardless, I'm a Mario over Luigi fan, but then I did some thinking...

Luigi IS tall, skinny, and he wears green...

Fact: Green is the new pink
Fact: Tall/Skinny Italians tend to get more chicks then short/fat ones which wear red. Secondly after the two retire as Plumber/Superheroes, Mario is probably going to open up a pizza joint, get twice as fat and have nine kids. Not to mention that the princess (who he most likely married in the end) is also fat now. However Luigi will most likely move to Miami and start dealing drugs. Before long he'll be the head of the largest cocaine (or koh-kah-ee-nuh) cartel in the United States. We'll see him blasting 5-0 (that's five-oh) with a rifle, getting shot several hundred times as he dies in his own glorious doped up blood; Not only as a criminal but as a hero... Then about 20 years later they'll decide to make another video game about him called wrench-face starring Luigi Montana... Oh yes, Luigi is much better than Mario.

Although I still don't like the name Luigi, so if we rename Luigi to Mario and Mario to Luigi, Mario remains the coolest :P
