What song will play on your funeral?
Classic topic...
What one song would you want to have playing on your funeral? I think mine would be Gary Moore - Thunder Rising |

Hmmmmm i dunno, if i was a grumpy old cunt when i died id have them play some of brian eno's longest most booring stuff or maybe something by godspeed you black emperor *shrug* Either way it would be great fun to have them sit there listening to Eno for an hour or so. Would prolly feel more like 10. Something by Django might be fun? Edit: Haha no, i got it. Sleep terror!

It was Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars, but now everyone has it. So if I die very soon I request that not to be played.

i want my corpse strapped up in actuators, and have it dance from within an open coffin to the hokey cokey!
You put your left leg in, your left leg out In, out, in, out, you shake it all about You do the Hokey Cokey and you turn around That's what it's all about! |

I Walked with a Zombie - Wednesday 13
Or, if I died during the holidays: I'll be Buried by Christmas - Wednesday 13. Or, if I wanted something a little friendlier to the people at the funeral, "A Tout Le Monde" by Megadeth would be a good choice. |

Speaking of Brian Eno, I have one of his albums with Fripp and yes....it's very very looongg and boring. Good for a movie production i suppose.
I would have them play Awaken by YES. or anything off the Relayer album.....such as Soundchaser. |
