What about 2fort?
Well, with 2fort being one of the most popular maps around now, i was wondering what the progress, if any, is on 2fort? It is one of my favorite maps along with dustbowl and Avanti. I would really like to see a 2fort with the release... I would REALLY like that. haha
If not thats fine. In my not too humble opinion, i think i am a very talented mapper and have created one of my own (had no internet at one point and made it for CS botting:] ). Upon release i would go ahead and throw it in as a custom, but it lacks the personalized textures ect.... But like i said. I dont want to do that, i would love to see the team creating a well mapped FF map like Dustbowl_Valley. Please for me, make 2fort. |

second that. We all know that 2fort, Well and cz2 are classics. FF without any of the maps would really miss something. I'd say relax brother. I'm pretty optimistic that Defrag is going to remake 2fort. He even made a remake '2kfort5' for TFC.

I actually liked cz2 the least out of the maps you mentioned. Mostly due to its large size. I think I heard someone say that they were making the map smaller though.

Well apart from the lighting, the Defrag version was much better than the original.

I'd like to see a more "open" 2fort. Not like in TF2, but maybe the bases are carved into the cliffsides overlooking a river with the bridge being the only way across. It'd be neat to have some rocks thrown into the water, maybe some debris of sorts to block the path up or downstream, keeping the map to the same dimensions.

FF without 2fort would be like a big pile of awesome without a runny grey streak of crap.
Maybe Eat's will be better (Wouldn't surprise me, given that it's Eat, which is good, and 2fort which can't get much worse) but no 2fort would make me very happy. |

Kinda old news ^^^. Eat is tweaking it - I'm sure it will look very sexy just like his other FF maps.
