Cloaky

http://www.clocky.net/

Quote:
Clockyâ„¢ (patent pending) is an alarm clock that runs away and hides if you don't get out of bed on time. The alarm sounds, you press the snooze, and Clocky will roll off of the bedside table, fall to the floor, and wheel away, bumping mindlessly into objects until he finds a spot to rest. When the alarm sounds again, you must awaken to search for him. Clocky will find new spots everyday, kind of like a hide-and-seek game.

Clocky alarm clocks were designed to reinterpret the common alarm clock into something that is not stressful and obnoxious but amusing and a better fit between humans and technology.
Neat idea

Neat, yes! But my body has grown accustomed to my alarm clock- i'd just sleep through it. Unless that thing has a randomly rotating ring-a-ling-ing sound frequency, it's still not going to work for me. D: I've tried to set three alarms, but found that extremely traumatizing.

I've also tried setting my alarm in the dark, then hucking it somewhere in the room. In the morning I'd have to get up and try to find where it. Take that, Clocky!

I just put my alarm clock somewhere where I have to get out of bed to turn it off. Works good.

Yes but this makes it like a game! A super fun not-at-all-annoying game you can play before rushing to get ready for work!

Life needs more fun!

Edit: also... "cloaky"?

I see a potential lawsuit looming. Clocky falls off nightstand and granpda gets up and steps on the bitch and slips and breaks a hip. HMM, I just thought of an idea.

I want one. My room is kinda cluttered though. I'd have to get an industrial steam-powered clocky.

i saw an alarm clock once that was shaped like a baseball, and to turn it off you had to throw it against a wall.

i thought about getting it, but then decided i didnt want to come home to find holes in my wall all over the place

Baseball? That's a cool idea. If it were plush, it probably would've worked better though.

That clock that moves up and down.. I can see myself swatting it sideways into the wall, like a cat.

Was wondering the same (see my previous post, zomg), I assumed it was a typo.

So, right, this thing's great and all, but what if it starts knocking over important shit?
