Not sure, but if you look at the bug fixes there are a lot of "crash" situation fixes which will make a big difference.

I'm pretty awesome at computers, just Hammer has been on the blink for a few months now >_<. When I have time I'm going to format my PC and hope everything clears up.

The entire site went down this morning, and then when it finally came back all changes made to the forums since the 18th were deleted, including my signature, and my hella long post of ff_canyon. Eh well.

it's actually working properly again for me as far as I can tell. maybe I'll get off my butt and work on ramparts again sometime soon.
valve needs to stop screwing with everything like this, it's very frustrating. I have 2.5gb of ram, I leave Hammer on in the background all the time when I'm mapping regularly- including when I'm ripping dvds, playing other video games, etc... |
