Help to grow our site & forums
Everyone on the dev team believes Fortress Forever will be the best mod for HL2. If we didnt believe that we wouldnt be making it . However no matter how good it is, if we dont have good community support , strong and welcoming forums, and many players out there ready to play the game on release the it will be tough.
Our forums have grown remarkably in 3 weeks weve gone from 0 to over 650 registered members this is cool as hell :O). But we can do better ! For every player who at one time enjoyed TFC this development period is their opportunity to influence how the mod will turn out. An opinion that was rarely able to be heard during the valve run days. Even for new players to the genre this is an opportunity for them to see a mod being created before their eyes and learn much about the game before its released. So keep spreading the word and get friends interested, i'm sure we can hit 1000+ members by the end of February. One thing you might like to do is if you see a mention of Fortress Forever in an unusual forum or in an interesting context post thie link here and we can see what people are saying about the mod. |

Will do. There's definitely a large addition to the FF community that just haven't found the place yet.
Let's hope that the more support there is, the more swift progress will be. |

Sorry to split hairs, but I don't know about 'best MOD'. Best is a very subjective thing to define :P Regardless, I believe it'll be a great success.

Would it be worth writing to PCGamer telling them about your mod? They always have random mod news every month and im sure they say, if you are making a mod, email x for an interview. Could potentially reach thousands of readers.
Other magazines too would surely be interested. |

I started a FF anticipation thread on Something Awful, and a few of the devs have posted in it. I'm doing all I can to get the word out.

I know this may seem like child's play but I noticed the sites Meta tags/descriptions and title wasn't particularly optimization for Google searches. Chuck in the address and what key words you want the site to be found under into this page (bottom) and it spits out its suggestions.
