well what they mean by porch is more generally "door", it means the package has been given directly to the recipient

No problem. We sometimes call it that too. Veranda is considered more fancy speek here in the southern U.S.A.

Maybe not. I once had a dispute with FedEx over this. They would just leave things at things at the door. One item I wanted returned, and wanted them to pay for it because I hadn't signed anything, and they said I signed for it. Turns out if they have your signature on file, they consider that authority to always leave packages for you. So, even though they say the package was signed for, doesn't necessarily mean the delivery person actually stood at the door and had the person sign his digital tablet thing.

My cat likes to shit on the walls of the litter box. Does it clean the walls too? I bet youll still get some dookie on the sides youll have to scrub :P

Anyways, yeah I hate FedEx. I work in a home improvement store, I sell carpeting. I had a pretty classic memory with the word Veranda. Someone came in sayign they wanted some indoor/outdoor carpeting for a veranda and I was like 'whats a veranda' and she made a big deal about me not knowing what it was and gave me a bunch of crap for it. End of story. So thats how I know what a veranda is myself, ive trainedm yself to call it that, its a cool word.

I've never had them drop packages off without someone signing. I have to leave notes or something if I'm not going to be there. You can fill out a form to avoid this all together and have them only drop it off if you sign it or drop it off without signature.

like i said, once i get it, ill find out. mine comes with a "privacy tent" also but i wont use it at first. The way it works is, cat uses it, sets off a timer then it rakes the gravel and plops the.....plop into a recepticle.

we shall see :P

not to go too off topic here, lol
