(Gazelle) I need personal help with installing hl mods.

I decided to ask here as it's a pretty active community, so here goes.

I want to install a couple of hl mods (The Specialists, PVK, and some others), but I don't have a half-life folder under my account folder to put them in. All I have in my account folder is DOD:S, Source 2007 Dedicated Server, Source Dedicated Server, and Team Fortress 2 and Team Fortress Classic. I tried putting the mod folder in the tfc folder but it wouldn't appear on my steam games.

I don't own half-life on this account though, only tfc.

i think you need half life installed to play half life mods. i may be wrong though...

i dunno, its been so long since i tried to play a half life mod, so i cant say for sure.

You need Half Life. Sucks for you; It was like 0.98 two or three months ago.

TFC is stand-alone. You need Half Life.

Ah man, how could I have missed out on such a deal. Oh well, time to switch account, to the one that has a lot of games and is banned from source games.

Oh, I can still play half-life mods, just not on the current account i'm on, as this is a newer one.
