I don't think why Pyro would be at a disadvantage.
Scout definatly, so easy to kill, and he just can't avoid dmg.

i picked the pyro...but only on maps that take away the napalm nade...kinda takes away the ability to do a lvl 3 burn...which makes it almost impossible to kill heavy armored classes.
other than that i think none of the other classes are really weak...other than the scout maybe but they are not made for direct fighting. |

I went with Engineer - his equipment does not work as well as I believe it could, and thanks to sabotage he is now pretty much stuck next to his gun. Pickup on enemies could be a bit faster too IMO.

I think engi is the one I'd choose too. Aside from the fact that I can't pick up packs that I dont need(very cool feature btw) I can't build sentries as quickly/or switch weapons as fast due to the new menus.

Scout does need more speed
Engy needs a better railgun/shotgun Medics nailgun needs a bit more of the orginal TF's punch HWguy should not be able to jump and shoot |

scout seems pointless to me right now, his speed isn't much better than medics and stuff but he dies near instantly to everything and can't avoid damage at all

Yeah, scouts need more default speed, eventho you can get silly speeds while bhopping after landing.

Scout, easily.
Poll is funny though. Only people who go on the offensive as engineers would think they are too weak, and snipers are one of the best classes in the game. |

Sentryguns are even more useless than tfc. In TFC if I built a sentry outside on 2fort it would shoot at people coming out of their fort, in FF the sentry range is so small that at the corner of crossover's yard people can just walk right freaking past it and it won't shoot at them. Add to that their lock-on time is so slow that most classes can just prime a nade and throw it while shooting to kill it in one go before it even kills them. They were made of glass in TFC but at least they killed people. Except for dustbowl and one or two really evil overlapping spots for two engineers or more I really don't see them ever killing people.

Scout probably, though to be perfectly honest they're no worse than they were in TFC.
Snipers, even with their tags, still lack utility on most maps, more of a conceptual problem than a balance one, though. Not much you can do about it. And all you Engineers are on crack, FF sentries do even better than TFC ones. An offense player's two main ways to take them down, grenades and nails, are both worse at doing that job in FF than in TFC. Pyros are good, I don't know how anyone can say otherwise. |

yup, played a pickup last night, and the top two on our team were both engineers
map: monkey 2xSG in FR --- scout needs a bit more speed |

I found the Demo's pipebombs incredibly weak, to the point where they're useless aside from setting a trap of 6 of them. I used to use pipes as my primary attack with Demo, but that is no longer practical.
I wish it was... so much fun. lol Overall though, I think things are very well balanced. Seems each class is being played a good amount on every server I've been to, and I've played over 20 hours of FF since release, lol. |

Scout. Like mentioned, he could need some extra speed. Also, I don't think the caltrops are as useful now. Maybe I just need to get used to it.

I feel that every class needs some tweaks and impriovements on some way, but there is not much the Scout can do, apart from being slightly faster. |

Engineer - with spys being able to sabotage, he is stuck standing right next to his sentry gun.
There have been a couple of times, when I saw someone run up to my sentry, as soon as the player gets to my sentry I start shooting him with my shotgun. Before I can kill the spy, he has already turned my gun on me. I have not played enough yet to say for sure - but first impressions are the spy seems to sabotage the sentry too fast. One spy can destroy a room full of sentry guns. The game seems a little out of balance when one person can take down a teams whole sentry gun defense. |
