Nice!
... I wonder, if the RPG will be magazine fed instead of reloaded one at a time? Edit: and if you can shoot those rockets and explode them! |

Looks wonderful guys, the RPG is simplistic but that's ok The soldier is a simplistic class The nail guns look wonderful also. Here is my one question which I have a feeling is silly. The ammo for the RPG seem to look like oversized bullets. They even have a pin on the back of them. So I am wondering is the rockets getting shot out exactly like bullets or is it like tfc, self propelled. This would make a huge difference in the game. For one thing, if it got shot out, it would have to be moving at a much greater velocity or it'd hit the ground shortly after b/c of gravity. Also you wouldn't have the flare behind the rocket, which would also change the game play a bit. But if it's self propelled like TFC, I would think the ammo would have to resemble more of a rocket. I hope this isnt a stupid question.

From what I gather, the rpg will play just like it did in TFC. I think they are going to work on the grenades since they are quite small... not like it is a big deal anyway. Better than those chzy looking rockets in tfc, lol BTW, I understand that the rl is unskinned.. will it contain any team colors or just one constant theme like tfc? I'm glad you guys are keeping the weapons simple. This is an HL mod.. not Quake/Unreal |

I love the new forum theme, ABOUT TIME FB! :P I've been waiting for it almost as much as the game itself the models look great, cant wait to see what the skinned and ingame versions look like. Also can't wait for some video footage
PS: I like the forum theme taking up only the center portion and the same goes for the FF website. I can see how for a forum for alot of people its better to have it fullscreen because of images and stuff. But I really like it gj FB! |

This game was made to attract old and new players, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone here has never played TFC.

Very nice. I really like the new rokkit launcha model, but the skin is a bit plain imho. Maybe put some writing or somthing on it. Nothing personal, I'm just used to looking at the "idiot-proof" AT and AA systems the Army uses. But reguardless, it is indeed a huge step up from the launcher from TFC. Keep up the great work, and thanks for the awesome Thanksgiving present!

It's all UNSKINNED. THERE IS NO SKIN, so it (the skin) cannot be plain. |

Oh, I see now...it's just a render with some olive drab coloring on it. Ok, scratch the plain skin part and keep the rest, awesome models.

An increased speed in reloading also effects the balance of game play.
Depending on the other changes that are being made this could be good or bad. But since there's really no suggestion as to what it's purpose may be there's no basis for conclusions. Models look badass. The nailguns look intimidating too, which is a nice turn. |

Has anyone on the FF's modeling team seen an RPG before? I say just stick to the original concept. It will out come 10x better.
