tfc ta ff ?

ive not played online 4 about 4 yrs now, and was thinking of playing again, can i transfer me old tfc scripts and binds straight over ?

you can do for most commands, but imo it's much better not to cos you're likely to mess something up in your FF settings if you had a complex config in TFC.

FF doesn't need any weird scripts to play it properly, so my advice is go through all the menus setting it up as you want it (there's a lot of stuff configurable in the menus that you used to have to script in TFC). if after that you can't make it do something you want to then resort to a script (i think the only thing i have scripted is a "best-2-weapon-toggle-button" for each class).

I figured out that was the second ta, but what about the first one in the title? And that last thing doesn't even make sense when translated.

I think the title was more "TFC t' FF" as us English would say it = "TFC to FF"

TFC ta FF is just stupid because your replacing o with a.. so there's no point - type properly

any chance you could post that script? Ive been looking everywhere for one exactly like that.

something that switch toggles between best two weapons depending on class eg, scout = nailgun/ shotgun, soldier = rocket launcher/ supershotgun etc etc

i don't have access to my cfg here at work, but all you need is something simple like this in each of your class config files:

Code:

alias w1 "slot 1; bind mouse2 w2"
alias w2 "slot 2; bind mouse2 w1"
w1

replace "slot 1"/"slot 2" with whichever weapon slots you want for that class, and change "mouse2" to whatever button you want ofc. oh, and make sure weapon quickswitch or whatever it's called is enabled in the options menu.
