Dragonlance - you like em?
For about 3 years as an undergrad I spent countless hours lounging around campus with my nose stuck in one of the myriad of dragonlance novels. I was wondering if there were any other fans of the series who may want to share a top 3 of their favorite ones.

I used to love em, grew up with Weis and Hickman, R. A. Salvatore and all the unspoken writers of the heroes of the D&D worlds. But I eventually tired of the same ol' same ol' and move on to the Crossroads (set in Dragonlance, after the War of Chaos) and a few of the other offshoots by no name but very talented authors.
If you want a fucking awesome book with a lot more war and intrigue than the Dragonlance stuff, pick up A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin. Because that's what really kept me interested in the Dragonlance main story for so long was the character development and political maneuvering behind the scenes. |

My brother's into them... but I never read 'em. Reading LotR for the 900th time.

On that note, check out any/all of the Dragaeran/Taltos novels by Steven Brust.
Some of the best books I have ever read. Oh, and Happy Birthday Lost!
