It's actually pretty simple to overcome this issue of "is it a good video."

If a person has produced even 1 video that shows off some basic/advanced skills, and can be used as promo, than it's a good video.

If a person has not produced even 1 video for any promotion/showoff skills, then it's a STFU* video.

*[note, stfu is an acronym for shut the friggin urmouth.]**

Good video. I enjoy the scouts speed brings back good memories, for furture reference as soon as they get any defence go medic though.

Lol she was downloading music at my place last christmas to make cd's for her family since she lived out in the country and only had dial up.

Do you mean Jump around by house of pain? That's not a bad suggestion. That'd fit pretty good with the scout.

If you meant the HW on crossover2, it wasn't you DoC. I'm not sure who were the hw's on aardvark though off hand.

Either way the video doesn't portray the other half of the story very well. I experienced probably on average 20 deaths per flag escape lol.

It's just hard to get any constructive criticism on the game play footage when people don't get past the music though :/

But I've thought about it, I'm leaving this one the way it is, and I'll try and do better for music selection next go around.

What I really wish is to get behind locked doors on a few of the clan servers when they're practicing or playing together. So I can record footage of repetitive attacks/defends. Especially for the solly.

It's really hard to get decent shots when it's me as solly because if I just stand and guard one spot I might never see anyone. Then when I do start wandering they're just lame kills.

Despite many people's dislike of the "league mentality" honestly it's the only real game play that offers exciting footage.

I used xvid with a lower bitrate. The whole time I was making it, I was trying to make the video as small as possible to make sure it would upload onto youtube. Then I discovered youtube turned it to shit no matter what.

Then I get linked to this stage6 and discover I can have unlimited size! Which sucked to find out later because I'd have to redo the whole damn thing again to make it look better.

So with that in mind, this was a complete learning lesson, from the recording of the footage, to the uploading of the final product. My next one if I can get enough footage, will be a hell of a lot better now that I know the steps involved.

Before this vid, I had never touched on any media editing in my life, other than a jpg in Paint here and there lol. So with all things considered it's not that bad

I'm still happy with it

*Edit now that I'm at work and can watch it, ya it didn't really make it much better, and the sound disappeared. I wonder where it went.

That is because I was not playing D. If I had been there, you would have been splattered on the walls.

For those that do not know, Chaotic Llama (AKA - C|L), Hammock and I have been playing against each other for @ 2 years in TFC.

Good video Hammock, dont worry about the music. You should know by now, a lot of people in this forum will complain about anything & everything.
