It should be hard coded or allowed. Because the game designers are allowing you to kill yourself, it was obviously their intention that you do that when you are infected. There is absolutely no gray area here. There is no reason for anyone to abide by your made-up rules unless you manage to get them hard coded into the game. |

As I said, it's very much like scripting out AC overheating, the only difference being that /kill is more easy and accessible to do. Just as people misused /_special in TFC, suiciding because of an infection is misusing /kill.
I'd be very surprised if a dev came in and said "yeah, we intended infections to be able to be dealth with by people with /kill". I'm not a dev but I'm pretty sure the reason you can't /kill alltogether when infected is that you should always be able to do that, for instance you could get stuck in buggy map geometry or other comparable issues. |
