Dreamcast!

Well, I recently began to attempt to find some use for my old Dreamcast lately, after realizing that they are becoming more and more harder to find, and have begun to assemble a cult following. I couldn't find any good games anywhere, and all the good games online are charged ridiculous prices by collectors, so I tried to find other uses. I then found out that any Dreamcast with a circled Number 1 on the bottom (such as mine) could boot ordinary CD-Rs, and began to find some emulators on the internet for it.

I have since downloaded a SNES Emulator with 383 ROMS, and a Genesis emulator with about 350 Roms.

So, to all the Dreamcast owners on the forum, do you still play/use your Dreamcast? If so, what do you play/use on it?

Dreamcasts boot some games normally, but some require a boot disc.

Sonic Adventure definatly, that was one of the first Dreamcast games I bought, but someone broke the disc...

However, NiGHTS was a Saturn game, not a Dreamcast game.

Not really related, but I plan to be fixing a Gamecube in the next couple of days. (Failed consoles are kinda related, no?)

I wouldn't call the Gamecube a failed console. Maybe a mediocre or not "OMIGOSH" good.
It was a Nintendo console, even though it was probably one of their worst, I still think it beat any thing before it, though nothing from the same generation and beyond.
It had pretty decent games. Had Mario, what more could you ask for? If we could throw Mario into a FF banner, we'd double/triple/+ our fanbase.

1s and 0s. Also some 2s have been reported to work but it rare. I went onto a torrent site and pulled down a ton of the popular/good games that were released on the DC and burned them. Just remember that you need to get the "warez" versions since they have been sized down to fix on a CD. A normal DC image is just over a gig and wouldn't fit on a disk.

To let you play mini-games like Chao Adventure.

I just downloaded Resident Evil 3, and Ikaruga as well. (I heard that was a good game.)

Anyways, I downloaded both Sonic Adventure and Bomberman, both were too big to fit on my CD-R.

And BootDream refuses to burn Ikaruga. Damn! And I cant use DiscJuggler because of some ASPI thing supposedly missing.
