its too bad the team is focusing so much mapping and artistic talent to just remaking HL1. I liked HL1, it was great for its time and very well done, and I'll certainly play BMS when it comes out, but it seems like such a waste of their effort. From the screenshots and the video, I can see how great it looks on source and I just wish they created their own singleplayer mod.

I've got no beef with actually making HL on Source enjoyable. The nostalgia will be greater than that of what HL:S created, as it was just a shitty pushover for Valve. This team is actually concerned about making a great game look even greater. Hopefully, too, that will make the whole gaming experience and the feel of the game greater.

Should they have come up with their own original idea of a MOD? I don't think so. Just a matter of opinion, I guess.

"rabid monkey" is one of the Black Mesa developers. I am not sure why I threw that in there, but it seemed to fit seeing how every tram ride tells you in one way or another to not feed the animals.

That clip is not edited or cleaned up. It was just something I did after a long script run so you are hearing a vanilla recording. (doesnt that hum absolutly drive you up a wall?) I was feeling up to a bit of dry humor, so I threw that together.

And of course I am cool... you actually doubted?!

Here is a cleaner version of some of my recordings in the past. Again.. this is just me messing around and is not what is being used in black mesa.
