About the customizability of the bots

Is anything known about the customizability of the bots?
For example I'd like to place 4 bots on the four positions on 2fort (Basement Soldier/Piper, Lift Soldier, Upper Spiral Soldier/Piper, Basement Engineer with sentry in flagroom or short)

I want them to defend and I want them to f$%&ing hold their positions (and _hurry_ back there, when they die).

Having the bots attack works about fine (in the TFs with bots I know) but I'm more of an attacker and their defensive capabilities where rather... non-existant ^_^

What I mean is: can I use the bots to practice standard TF situations or will I only be able to use them in deathmatch or 1on1 play?

Of course I don't want this to be a reason for delay, just wanted to know if it's planned or not.

That sounds really cool. And it would be great for a bot server. And ther's no reason why it would have to delay any thing. That seems like something that could be added through an update easily enough.

one problem i found with bots is the aim.. they are either god awful or aimbots. Nothing like running in to nmy base and getting cut down the sides by nmy bot meds/scouts that are ace shooting you.

Anyway i like your idea of having real defensive features built into the bots.

If the bots can be scripted to serve as tutorials, I imagine putting them in common D positions wouldn't be difficult, if it isn't done automatically.

This sounds pretty easy, from an implimentation standpoint. Just add in some folding menus that have some bot commands (Bot Commands -> Bot # -> Attack/Get Flag/Follow me/Defend here/Defend Flag Room/Rambo).

Getting actual AI to follow those commands and do it as expected is a different story :P
