Fortress Forever Featured As PHL's Mod Of The Week
Much to our delight, the fine folks over at Planet Half-Life have chosen Fortress Forever as their "Mod of the Week" (MOTW).
The Fortress Forever dev team members have been working very hard behind the scenes. To view evidence of our hard work, I strongly encourage you to check out PHL's Fortress Forever "Mod of the Week" spread, which highlights six new and exclusive media items like these: The FF dev team would also like to thank PHL's D3pth Charge for being patient with us. Cheers!

Nice shots. Very nice. SG is very brightly team-colored eh? I like it. The nailgun looks like somethin' outta WW2, which isn't a bad thing. The grenade launcher looks great ("Timed Explosives Armed"!).
The ruins of hunted aren't open-topped anymore, eh? Interesting. Quote:
All-in-all it's good stuff. Can't wait to see more.

The explanation basically comes from how we thought the outside of the ruins building was like a normal building, but then you'd go inside and see no ceiling/roof. We just thought that was weird when we started making the ruins in our version of hunted, so we made a roof...and a really cool attic. Of course, putting an intact roof over the ruins means needing to explain why the roof is intact with the inside all destroyed. The current reason may change. In fact, the old reason of "it was bombed out" isn't even what Jesse and I are planning to go with anymore. We might destroy the roof some. And actually, putting holes in the roof wouldn't even be a problem with visibility anymore, because of how we have hint brushes setup in hunted. But yeah, having the ruins roof destroyed isn't even important with this new reason we plan on using. Just know that we're going to try to make sense of the ruins roof in the best way that we can. |

the roof on the ruins is a good idea, that means no more throwing nades out of the bounds of the map. i like it. the only thing i didnt like that much was the pl looks like a chode in the guys hand. . .and i know what chodes look like.

It won't be going in the first or second release, despite the fact it's fairly well on the road to completion. Just a little fun thing to show, I guess :P
