[Beta1] ff_redlight_greenlight_b1
Beta 1 is here
DownloadI'll be gone tonight. Let me know how it goes in a full game. There might still be a bug with the round ending earlier than it should occasionally (has to do with team switches I'm pretty sure).

Back in Elementary school there was a game called greenlight, redlight. One would call out green light and every ran and try to reach the end. Then they would called red light and you had to stop, and who ever moved lost.
Spies try to run at green light with obsticles. At red light doors open and snipers try to sniped em, spies cloaked so they are not seen. Oh and a scout there trying to reveal em, scout is as slow as a cloaked spy btw.

Oops. I might want to upload the rar next time I release a map. Try now.
I'm surprised at how many people are unaware of red light, green light. It's a classic playground game. Come on! EDIT: Also, the instructions are in the loadingscreen. I'll post that here as well in a second.

This map is rediculous, in a really good wtf way. I laughed more times playing the alpha than any other map in FF so far. Killer stuff.

Bug. maybe intentional...
when ur on the moving blockthat starts by the pyramid, you dont remain completley cloacked while it moves... prob not much you can do about it. |

Unless you mean a lot of people have never played the game in their childhood years, because that would be surprising. |

although classic playground games are fun for FF, at least 1 classic pickup map would be even better (siege, alchemy, phantom ?) |

I played a game that we called, 1,2,3 red light here in sweden. Is it the same? There was a person who sad 1,2,3 red light and when he/she turned around everyone had so stand still, those who didn't had to get back to the beginning. The one who touched his/her back first won and they switched place and so on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_light/Green_light "n France, a variation of this game is called "1,2,3, soleil" (one, two, three, sun). The caller counts loudly saying 1, 2, 3, and then faces the players when he says "soleil"." Last edited by Caroline; 09-30-2008 at 07:17 PM. |

I never played a game like that though I think I knew about it.
The map: it's pretty fun even though I never made it through. Being dead sucks and the round needs a time limit for times when there is one or two spies still lingering around. Alternately, You could make dead players move to the sniper team, and you could also let spies who get to the end try to go back for more points. |

Yeah the few times I played it you were supposed to say something like "the green lantern says one two three red light". Might've been just "the lantern". Also remember watching a movie called the Orphanage not long ago where spanish kids were playing this game and saying something other than red light green light.
Edit: they say 1, 2, 3 toca la pared which I think translates into 1, 2, 3 touch the wall Last edited by bokko; 09-30-2008 at 10:01 PM. |
