Tattoo Help

Hey everybody,

I've been thinking about getting a tatoo on my bicep for the longest time. What I'd really like to do is get an angelic symbol. Google has suprisingly not helped me find what I was looking for I didn't know if you guys have any ideas of better sources. If ya have 'em can you post some ideas?

I have 7 tattoos, and all of them have meaning to me. As for getting ideas from Google, I don't really recommend it. My first tattoo after Rose died, was a pair of penguins holding a rose. I had the visual concept I wanted, and decided to use the internet to find what I wanted.

3 1/2 hours after I had begun, I had a cartoon picture of penguins(which took me over 2 hours to find)....but I never did find the right Rose for the tattoo, on the internet that is.

You have to be both tenatious, and lucky, to find what you want on the net. Best thing to do, is go to a tattoo shop(or a friend who can actually draw), and give as good of a description as you can, and see what they come up with. You'll then have a chance to look it over, and see if it's what you want, close, or not even in the ballpark.

im a big fan of taking large doses of hallucinagents and drawing something obviously dont tattoo it till you can inspect it sober haha

Tattoo a dick on your bicep, each time you're going to apply force in your bicep you're tattoo's going to have a boner.

Right, so. Angelic symbols.

Generic angels, or Biblical? A particular choir?

Proper symbols, or caricatures, or...?

Doing some looking around on Wikipedia, Angels have seen a lot of different iterations...

I think these might be the weirdest:

Angels clusterfucking or something.

Heaven is weird dude.

Anyway... what do you want the tattoo to mean? What do you want it to say? What prompted you to get it?

This wouldn't be the first tatoo I've gotten. I have a rather large back piece already.

I was hoping to add this to an existing collection. My goal was to look at an angelic alphabet of sorts to see what images there were. Sort of like night crawler in X2. Except just one of them. And only on my arm.

I wanted to see some typical images. Something focusing on guardian would be nice. Or a symbol for family or kinship. I don't know much about basic symbols which is my problem. I basically want to be an expert before I get the tatoo haha.

The Celtic knots are always cool. But as odd as it may seem I'm trying to avoid a specific religious implication. Angels are present in more than just sects of Christianity so I'm going to something that most people will not recognize as a specific religious mindset. Basically I don't want someone to look at me and be like "oh, you're Christian! Lets me Christian together!" (I have no idea what that entails I just made it up)
