I thought that they would at least show you the article before printing it so that you could look for any mistake. The wrong link would have been fixed at least.

I guess it's hard to circulate false information AND be approved by the ones concerned at the same time though.

Nice to see that thousands of PC Gamer readers will try to come to the FF website, only to be redirected to an ad site, and think that the mod folded.

I find it amazing that someone actually took the time and money to register the domain just to put up some lame ads that no one could possibly find interesting.

Actually, the person who bought it got it simply to make money off it. I made an attempt to see how much the person would sell it for, so I made a bid for a few hundred and his response was $5,000 USD for the domain and wouldn't budge.... I laughed.

Yea it was a bit bad on their side of the deal to not contact anyone. Still good publicity though. Had they contacted someone they might have got the web address right.
