In my experiences so far, most of the "clan run" servers are usually the most worthless to play on.

Yeah, the servers where you get 4-5 clan players on one side, and they just obliterate the other, is not much fun.

haha, I wasn't going so much for that as the clan people were always doin' lame shit and then telling everybody else they couldn't.

Or, they'd tell everybody not to do something, even though none of the clan people even had any kind of administrative powers on the server.

Or, one of them would happen to be an admin, and you'd get kicked and/or banned trying to explain to them that some douche was doin' something they had told people not to do, and just yeah..

So, yeah, haha, I was goin' for the douche factor.

Man, servers showing up as ranked and then me not getting any stats from said servers is really pissing me off.

I would've had veteran assault if the Seal Team Six server that showed up as a ranked server was really a ranked server. Bah, wasting my precious and rare play time and then the stats not counting.

I play as Rac9088 or now since they added a tag colum as Racer* rac9088
Im a Gunnery Sargeant and usually play Special Ops.
Im pissed that the last patch made ranks worthless and now everones a Sgt of one kind or another. The old points were to hard but they shoulda comprimised.

Any BF2 clans recruiting, this ex TFCr {SoCal, NeX, RzP and .2xL} would love to join a clan. Itd be cool to join with other ex hardcore TFCrs. Only bad thinfg is no Sgs but o well I got C4 now

Okay. Move your crosshair over some bad guys. Then click your left mouse button. Stop shooting when the guy falls down.

But really, it's pretty straightforward. Shoot guys that don't look like you, and stand near flags to cap them.

When starting, use the Spec. Ops class, it's the most well rounded.

Play SP for awhile before going multiplayer. Get confident, experiment with classes.

yeah i got back into it the other day. i hauled ass, then got annihilated by flashbangs and these weapons i've never even heard of

later found out you need to "buy the addon" to actually use these weapons. what i find truly gay about BF2 and its elitism, is that it either makes you play the game for hours on end, or spend more money, to get that advantage over your opponents. considering the fact my pc barely runs BF2 anyway...

That's why I found a good mod that put more bots in SP, and I usually just play that.

It's becoming the same as America's Army. I played it when it first came out, and it slowly sunk into elitism with SF and all.

Just jump in the choppers/planes and bite your thumb at anyone that's toting some new fangled weapon that he/she paid for :P I also hated the fact that their expansion introduced the new content into the original game. It's just a cynical marketing ploy. Keeping up with the BF2 Joneses sucks.

its rather below the belt too. okay, making you play the game for hours on end is bad enough to unlock weapons, but giving paying customers of the addon the right to bring their guns (particularly the flashbang) to my gaming experience, i find quite an outrage.

what i'm trying to figure out now is why i can't find any ranked servers! when i check it in the filters, there are none unless i uncheck "same version," in which case i can't connect to any of them.
