Right, because that won't get lost in a bush. I already can never find the SG because cacalot is hiding it in bushes and shit.


I still think either a panda or giant tree would make good flag models. Or maybe the hut above flag stand, maybe you have to capture that.

Did get a couple of huge frame drops in the water tunnel playing it today. Idk what it is about FF and water that sometimes causes that. But I'll try to work on the optimization of that.

Playing this felt like breathing a life-saving whiff of fresh air. It's fun and tight, just like your girl.

Can't think of any gameplay recommendations, but I think the lighting could be improved by making the whole map/shadows brighter or maybe adding a dash of yellow in the environmental lighting. Not a fan of the depressing HL2 greyness that is present in a lot of FF's maps.

Thanks man.

The env light is actually set to a yellowish/orangish tint, though on the more dull side. Lighting is pretty hard to get due to the wide variety of monitor settings players employ. On my monitor the map is pretty well lit. While it's certainly moody in some places, I don't find it to be too dark, and that's kind of the way I like it. But I will probly brighten things up a bit in b2.

I think you could maybe make things a bit easier for the engi - he gets a bit shafted with a massive tree blocking line of sight and generally difficult to keep an SG up there.
