i play other games that arent really as good, as well as holding poker tourneys at my house and working full time and other such things. i was playing half life 2 single player up until the beginning of this week and then it just endedabruptly without me even knowing into some crap ball ending that makes me reset ever playing it! but thats what i do

hey guys i got an idea.... since most of us seem to be doing

why don't we get a TFC server up with a map rotation of some of the maps beeing ported to FF and make it an offical FF server i wouldn't mind throwing down some cash for a TFC FF offical server :P as long as no crappy soundfiles and lame stupid mods get put on it lol. what yea say?

lol crappy public server is one of the reasons i stoped playing lol half the servers out their are full of bots and have 2fort 24/7 -_- or saying "HEADSHOT!" every 10seconds.

That isn't a bad idea. Just if we could get this board to play there...

yea thats the only draw back i am sure the steam forum members would play their also FF is all the buzz on the steam TFC forums... you would prolly get teh support of thecatacombs.net as well i think a poll is in order!

I normally just use school, socialising, girlfriend and mapping as an excuse not to game. Normally game with NS, occasionally TFC.

I just got home from the dentist, school and work now, so i doubt it was me

I dont even play CS:S. I know of atleast 1 other person calling himself decs. Probably like 300 other gamers named decs :P

I have CS:S and HL2DM, but I still play TFC all the time. Why? Because its the best gameplat ever invented, fasted paced, and I play with people I know and enjoy hanging out with. TFC has a great community

I've degenerated to playing CS:S

Also tried the AHL: Director's Cut.. Not QUITE like the good ol' days, but the closest it's been in a long time..... and some Neverwinter Nights lately.

But more than that, I've been working on bringing TPF influence to other games besides half-life, that & doing a bit of Programming for the site. Takes up a lot of my time.

What is so wrong with CS:S really? It is actually pretty fun IMO. Its the only HL2 mod that has much replay factor. HL2DM is fun usually for about 15-30 minutes. But then I don't have alot of online friends that play it so maybe I'm biased. Games are always more fun with people you know. *shrug*

Nothing. It's great. Just that back in the day, I always advocated that TFC was superior, and now I find myself playing CS, which I never thought I would be doing (at least not so much, anyways).

In its current state it really isn't. Of course any game without any developer support can't really be superior to much.
