Touch cap game
Instead of the typical "capture the flag" type of game play, how about a touch cap?
Meaning, all the enemy player has to do is touch the flag, and they get maybe 5 points? But, the player can only touch the flag once in a lifetime. Meaning, touch the flag, get 5 points, die, respawn, then go back and try to touch the enemy flag again. The flag itself would never move. Once the player touched the flag, he could turn on the enemy teams defense and try to create as much havoc as possible before he died. Take a map like openfire, and then make it into a touch cap game. This would speed up game play. === edit === When your team touches the flag, have some sexy voice say "your team touched the enemies flag".... |

It would be way too easy. Defense would be useless. Scouts can move the flag out of a base now even if it's a 'museum of sentry guns'. So, just touching the flag would be done every conc-in.
