2.43 Released!

Less than a week after 2.42 was released, a new patch arrives. We have scrambled to fixed every bug we could find and have also rebalanced a few of the new features that were added in 2.42.

Hopefully this makes up for the slight disaster that 2.42 turned out to be.

Nice work , I guess the quick response of 2.43 makes up for the slight mess of 2.42 with regard to bugs and such

I will give feedback once I've played it a bit. Hopefully everything will be fixed and working well

Looks pretty good from the changelog, hopefully it will be an improvement for more parties who had issues with 2.42.

Just gave it a go, no problems so far, runs smoothly, good FPS, no crashing or any bugs. Well done to the dev team , now get to work on the next big update.

We need more maps that can offer the same level of playability as the most popular maps in FF and keep players. Make something to go alongside Aardvark, Shutdown2, Destroy, Openfire. GO GO GO

Make sure that all ceilings have ramps so you can conc sloppily and still be effective.

You would prefer they be completely neutered? Defense got a nice beef-up in this patch, and Medic got nerf'ed a bit. Apparently, it was a bit much... which is why some minor un-nerfing happened. Why don't you at least give it a try, before casting bad karma all over the place?

Um... the super nailgun didn't have a clip before. We added that. Still trying desperately to get things to conform to your perception of FF?

You might want to try the 2.42 changelog, which came out a week before 2.43. We changed infection, we added a clip to the super nailgun, and we buffed the defense overall. Great job being misinformed and forming an absurd opinion.

Wow Kev. You need to check the 2.42 changlog and you need to consider that 2.43 is a quick fix for 2.42.

Medics never even had clips before It was upped to 50 because 30 was too small to be useful but now players can't spray nails as they could before.

Medics infection used to kill and now it doesn't, you stay safe and you can regain 100% of the health lost from infection. So I think you can consider that a nerf too

Jump pads being destroyable are a serious problem in ctf since they (usually) need to be placed outside to be effective. The problem is even worse when the other team has a sniper.
