Tablet PCs

Okay, so I am working on a tablet PC for a customer - she thought it would be a good idea to turn off her firewall a few months ago. That... was not a good idea.

I am looking into getting one myself... I will more than likely be moving soon and getting into a much better economic situation where I can afford one. I am really interested in purchasing a tablet pc - I love the ability to write directly on the screen.

The PC she has is a Toshiba Satellite R15-S829 - which from my checking on reviews is apparantly a mediocre tablet PC at best. It runs nicely from what I can see (aside from the low ram, that is). So, it can get better than this?

So yeah, I am lookin' for something that is good and under $800 if possible. Any suggestions?

I have been trying to find out on review sites which tablet PC is currently considered the best in my price range, but the good lot of them are confusing. Also, they are the direct work of Satan I believe. So yeah. HALP!

Well the "shitty" Toshiba Satellite that I am fixing for my customer is pretty nice running Windows XP.

I do not need some blazingly insane 4.0 Gigahertz Pentium Dong with roaring graphics and 15 GB of RAM.

Maybe 1.5 gigs of RAM, decent proc?

The recognition with the stylus is most important to me honestly. I would primarily use it for drawing and writing documents. Save paper and the like.
