Seems more likely to be decriminalized, which isn't the same, but a step in the right direction nonetheless.

Eh, who wants legalization anyways. Decriminalization is preferable to legalization, imo.

I am all for decriminalization.

Weed addicts will be thrown into federal prisons rather than county jails. Save California bunch of tax dollars.

Ummmmmm, you realize that decriminalized narcotics will mean people won't go to jail? They'll pay nominal fines, as drug use will only be counted as a misdemeanor, and weed will no longer be classified as a Schedule 1 drug, up there with heroin and crack cocaine.

LOL, drug may be decriminalize under California laws, which means nothing to the DEA. California already has ceased to arrest users of "medical marijuana". But DEA is out throwing people in prison as usual.

Republicans -> fascists
Democrats -> fascists

Can't decide who's worse, and the next democrat who stands up and calls themselves a "liberal" is getting smacked in the face. Take your authoritarian hierarchical national government and get the fuck out ma country.

I started calling my liberal friends national socialists, which is basically the Nazi Party. If the shoe fits, fucking wear it. Lets legalize weed but control everything else. Banks, Industry, Healthcare, gun ownership, what you can buy eat, sell, who you can hire, who your are allowed to dislike who you have to like, legislate "mind crimes", etc.

Except weed.

They don't have a clue I am calling them a Nazi.

I keep that to myself and covertly sway to my hybrid political conservative, liberal, nationalist, federalist, republican (republic), globalist, libertarian, anarchist viewpoint.

So I am a joy to be around because I am never on any one side all the time.

Stray is on my short list of people here I'd like to sit and enjoy a few beers with. I thought his previous comment was pretty funny.

personally i think they should decriminalize the stuff. however im agianst legalizing it b/c i already know whats gonna happen. first off its not good for your lungs, (even fire isn't great for your lungs.) what did cigarette companies do to the cigarette, well they added all sorts of chemicals. making it even worse for you. so what are they logically going to do with marijuana. maybe even adding nicotine or something like that so your hooked. also it effects your driving. so they'd have to make a law for that. (no smoking while driving.) and when do people listen to laws look at the law agianst marijuana. no one seems to listen. (at least enough to bring up a debate.)

also when you give someone and inch they'll take a mile. so whats next making crack legal im sure they'll try that to. evil works it way in slowly. how do you think Hitler weaseled his way into office after he tried to take Germany by force.. same thing here just not the same situation but concept remains the same.

What's wrong with legalizing crack? I mean, beside the fact that legalization usually creates larger government, what's wrong with the act of making things that harm no one but the responsible adult capable of doing with his or her body as he or she pleases in his or her own space less of a criminal act?

well lets see it its really really bad for you... when your on it, you tend to harm yourself or others. and lets see being responsible doesnt include killing yourself. which is essentially what crack does.
