though that phone looks fucking hot

ill end up getting the touch pro then upgrading to touch pro 2 or palm pre in q3 of 09 when the prices on them drop

And to your point about 'full network support' - You don't get the 'full' effect form the iphone unless you jailbreak it! It opens the iPhone up to so much more. The only two features you lose if you unlock it and put it on another network are the visual voicemail and the 3g speeds (for the time being, if you own an iPhone 3g). Everything else stays the same.

I doubt Verizon will get iPhones - Apple signed a big deal with AT&T and I don't think there is any way around it for the time being.

As for the music - Yeah.. I'm not a huge fan of itunes on a PC, but I have an ibook, macbook pro and one work macbook pro and iTunes works flawlessly on it. If it's that big of a problem, you could also use winamp (on PC) to transfer the data. There are ways around it if you really dislike itunes that much.

I only mentioned one thing I observed about the Blackberry and why I believe it's better for email.. There's much more to it. In the end, who cares? I'm simply stating my view. I looked at phones for months before making the decision to buy. I checked out the phones of friends and did show and tell at the various mfr stores. The time with AT&T on the iPhone was simply morbid curiosity as the AT&T exclusivity guaranteed I'd never get it. I've suffered through their abysmal service for entirely too long. As to Jailbreaking I've already indicated my view on that...but it, too, doesn't matter due to it being on AT&T.

Frankly, the negative about the Storm reminds me alot of the negative about Vista. Typically it's from people who have limited experience with it. The one thing the Storm won't do...is replace my Palm. All of the current phones are weak in enough areas that the T5 stays with me for now. I'll be interested in hearing what Shadowcaster and others say about this once it releases.

lol I went through the same phase.... and they are still releasing new stuff.... Touch pro 2 interface coming soon too...

I would give you link too all the apps and tweaks I have but there just so many lol

Right now I'm posting from my phone, I have a bluetooth keyboard and mouse hooked up and it's hooked up to a monitor, and I'm using remote desktop to work from my phone...

I think I'm at like 180 soft resets today
