So im going to buy some guitar Equip
This guy that lives near me is in need of money really bad. He has some guitars and amps he wants to sell. He clearly knows nothing about guitars whatsoever! He has a G&L '89 SC-3 by Leo Fender (the originals ). He claims its 7000! Hahah more like 500. It has like 10 scrathes on the paint. Which sux. So its even cheaper
What im really looking at is the Fender Hot Rod Deluxe 40watt amp that goes for about 600 new. He also has a Martin DM dreadnought that retails about 600 as well. I convinced him its crap because of how thin it is How much do you think i can convince him of selling these 3 to me? Keep in mind, he thinks the Fender is way expensive. I wanna get it for really cheap. Im pretty sure they are probably hot as well. Oh well, im transfering to UNLV this semester and could care less. |

i wouldn't bother for any of it, except maybe that g&l if you manage to haggle it down to a decent price
as a side note, i'm not particularly fond of fender amps either but the blues junior has absolutely godly tone for something in that price range |

I'd say about $500 would be reasonable for the G&L. For the other two, I'd say about $400 is reasonable. These are just estimates, but anywhere in those areas would be fair for both of you, I think.

Alright let me rephrase myself
Post 1972 Fender Solidstate amps are shit Do yourself a favour, get something with tubes, then replace the tubes with ones from http://www.jj-electronic.sk/ You will cry with happiness everytime you strum that first chord through it |

Well, I just dropped 600 on a guitar. It's the only money I had left
Ibanez SA220FM. Pictures coming when the batteries charge. It plays like happiness. Now I just gotta save for a new amp. |

Pff maybe if you're in a Jazz combo
At 7 that amp would start to fuzz and buzz despite the tube(s) |
