That IS directly captured sound. It gets fucked up (badly) in the recording process.

The only thing I can do is make the video completely mute, pretty much, until I get a proper sound card. I've got some shit I want to test, but I haven't bothered yet.

1. It's now two 90 degree turns instead of a spiral. So now instead of running around a dark stairway for 30 seconds, you just turn a couple corners and have more freedom of movement against any lurking defenders.

2. Shits and giggles. Notice there's a bag right next to it - top spiral defender could sit down there instead, then nobody's getting in. It's just another way to get down to the flag, though.

3. I wouldn't count on them changing.

@Circ, I'm not too sure about that hole, but I'll wait and see how it plays I guess.

Map looks good. I don't think the added passage ways or slight change to layout will change the typical defensive setup for the map, though, and I still think it will be a very low scoring map in a 5v or even a 6v league.

I'm not a fan of the whole 2fort setup though. Requires too much DM for the offense to get much of anything done, but that's not really important for this thread.

Map looks good.

Well, if nothing else, know that we will be rigorously testing it. 5v5, 7v7, 9v9, and probably even more.

The "beta" version features a few changes..... we'll see what happens. It is looking REALLY good, though.... and everyone should drop Shadow a hearty "Thank You!" for such a good job.

The drop down exit from the 2nd respawn seems like it would be aweful easy to spam mirvs and emps through the floor right at where the players respawn.

Might want to test out the assholery factor for that one.

The players don't actually spawn anywhere near that hole.

Even if they did, you could always put a noannoyances brush there so the grenades wouldn't explode.


I'm pretty sure that hole in the spiral is there for the benefit of the offense rather than the defense. Even though it's stupidly hard to use it as a exit, it's still good for sneaking around a defender.

We held a 2fort playtest tonight.

It was magical. I cried a little.
