There's a guy in our lost group on the [o-t] server that has a theory that "it worked" means that you can't co-exist in both realities at the same time for long, that you have to choose which one you're in, that she knew and choose the other world. Not really following that...

That's what I thought as well. The point of the bomb was to revert themselves back, right? Well when she died she went back to her previous self.

Right now everyone exists in two places right, so when they die they go back to their previous self and like... I dunno.. take them over.

The theory makes sense and is interesting. I don't know that I like it as part of the story yet though. I give them a lot of credit and faith here though since the story being told is very interesting. I think at times their method of telling the story is god awful, but that doesn't change my interest.

Oh by the way I started watching Lost.

I don't know what to make of it yet really. It takes me a few episodes to get back into it, especially since how long the break was.

Not that they are that important, but is it me or have the special effects been iffy the last two seasons?

Uh, dude, they're special effects have sucked since season one. They're terrible at it and should really give it up.

Actually, after looking back, you are right. I could only really remember the polar bears looking iffy. Not so iffy that they spoilt the feeling, but good enough.

I just felt the "smoke monster" didn't look as good compared to previous eps.

Has to be a budget thing right? And apparently time. I know this is television and all, but example: Fringe's FX (and Heroes from what I remember) are very good.

Anyway, like I said they're not so bad that they ruin the feel, but on the odd occasion it gets close to. Still love the damn show.

Was going to wait until the final ep, but since you bumped...

I have been a bit disappointed with this season. Only two or so episodes really wowed me, which Lost used to do every episode. The episode about Richard and the episode with Penny & Dez ones were great! All others were a bit meh.

Or is that just me?

The ending was perfect, very VERY well done, nicely wrapped up. I'm sure it was a bitch for the Atheists fans, but damn if it wasn't the greatest ending to a show I've ever seen.

Sill trying to take it all in. At first I was like "oh what.. religion", but the words God and Heaven were not even mentioned. Even though I don't believe in a God, it is still nice to think we and our loved ones do go off to heaven. So I was happy with it.

Did you noticed that the "church" had a plethora of religious symbols from many different beliefs? Even the stained glass windows did, so it wasn't tied to any one religion.... Loved that they didn't try to pigeon hole it.

Gotta say I weren't the most impressed but I know I don't have much faith. I was actually hoping for a more logical ending too. But for what it was I can respect it

I also appreciated that it wasn't really religious and more a faith in afterlife kinda thing.

The special before the finale explained that it was character driven. Would have been nice to see that before I saw the finale, I wouldn't have felt as disappointed as I did at the time.

I have to download you see, and that special was upped after.

I am overall happy with it now.
