G4 and FF?

Just out of curiousity.. has anyone contacted G4tv about FF? I checked their site and didn't see anything on FF. They play their game segments often, if FF even got a 2 minute bite (which would be easy to do) it would probably go a long way.

Good idea, but there's a flaw in your reasoning: G4 would actually have to air anything about games to show something about FF. They're too busy airing Cops, Ninja Warrior, and that god awful Attack of the Show.

X-Play could do something on FF between pointless and unfunny sketches

yea, i agree. too much crap that isnt games, and x-play used to be funny, now its just pathetic how hard its trying to be funny. they should either go back to ACTUALLY being funny, or just focus on the games themselves....

I think basing where you're going to advertize on how "cool" you think a TV station is, is an error in judgement. They're always looking for fresh news, plenty of young gamers like the odd crap on that station, you want to get the word out.... I'd stop being so picky.

Don't get me wrong, I've just been snide about this - getting FF on G4 would be awesome. I love Ninja Warrior and like reading idiotic chat comments on Cops when it's on every other half-hour, but compared to the past content of G4 there's nothing too video game-related. Which would probably lessen the chance of FF actually getting any coverage - what time they do devote to video games would certainly focus on games lots of people recognize and like. I don't think anyone actually tunes into G4 to see some new games, and the Halo-obsessed demographic G4 targets probably wouldn't be very interested in FF.

No, we are basing it on the fact that G4 barely does any gaming stuff anymore and none of us can think of a show that would actually care about a fringe Fortress game that isn't already getting huge press *cough* TF2 *cough*

Maybe in G4's hayday X-Play or The Screen Savers would have done something on it.

There is no market for an all gaming network. They are trying to flesh out their programming which make sense if they want to stop being the lowest rated cable station.

i dont believe they would adv for FF... its too widely broadcast for them to waste efforts on a mod review.

Hey....when I published my book via a "self publishing" company...I knew I had to do an assload of work to get the word out about it. I had major problems hit me at the same time. This game hasn't had that particular problem. I highly suggest taking any and all possible routes to spread the word!! There is no free ride.....you have to earn it.
