Keyboard Lag

Yooo, so I haven't changed anything in my computer recently other than getting an LCD monitor, and now ingame I get keyboard lag/stuttering issues. Ideas?

Never experienced it, so to me the cause could be anything. I'd just reformat.
Yeah, easy way out but usual a guaranteed solver, unless it is something with your hardware. But then if you still get it after format, then you know it is hardware.

If you partition your hard drive and throw everything on one half, formatting isn't as big a deal then.

How much memory, what video card, what resolution are you running at, and have you tried lowering your game video settings?

Yeah I dropped all the settings to their lowest and it reacts the same. I'm pretty sure this is just an unavoidable monitor shebang considering that it affects all my games and the only thing changed is the monitor. I'm a try hooking my old CRT monitor up and if that resolves it then that's that.

Might be because of native resolution switching? Happens with TVs as well.

You can try forcing your new monitor to a profile that matches what you like to run in games. Do you have the USB ports on the monitor plugged in? That line of thinking would assume your kb is USB. Other than that make sure the obvious, you have the latest USB bus drivers and monitor driver vs a generic MS one. Might be an issue with MS detecting it and setting it up properly. Maybe its using the crt profile, who knows.
