I just got vegas, and i read about the source recorder, and smoothing and stuff just the other day. So, in the process of familiarizing myself with these things, i tried to learn by putting a video together. I felt it was practice. This is probably the dumbest thing i have ever publicized in my life, but i had so much fun doing it, that i want to share. I also have no fucking clue what im doing with these programs so any tips and feedback is going to be greatly appreciated. I hope to someday put together some badass videos. The thing is only 2 minutes long, and for some reason its a huge file. I dont think i know what to render as. I hope your reaction to this is laughter.

Of course, you'll need someone to help you out on the res/compression side of things. Quality matters, and when I opened up the vid and it started playing for a few secs I though "wow, this seems very HQ" but the FF bits were subpar.

You seemed to have learnt well. I liked the music and the camera work was good.

GreenMushy jump on the mimic vent some time (vent11.gameservers.com 4690) and Me or Zuljin can hook you up with some good codec to compress your video down a lot smaller without losing much quality
