Hmm.. Did you guys know that by googling "fortress forever", the first result is a wiki? Then a few spots lower we got a link to the forums.. I've gone in 5 pages and I've yet to see a link to the front page..

Meta tags are *so* 1990s. Honestly, they do very little with modern search engines. Helpful still, definitely, but just by adding them you won't see a difference.

I think so long as they get to the site then it isnt a big deal.

If they already know the name then they probably know the site anyway

Making sure the XHTML is w3c valid would be a good start, as would defining a character set (I.e <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html;charset=utf-8" />) for the actual content.

The number of inbound links to the site is fine, I think Google is ignoring it for other reasons imo and I'd start with the above.
