That's true actually, I'd really like to see how things are going with that as well. I suppose the teasing single shot of openfire is ok for now, but it would be nice to know that the other two league staples of monkey and sd2 are coming together and will be included in the initial release
I seem to remember they were included on the initial map list. Is that still going to be cut down to reduce confusion for new players on release? |

Everything looks promising. The different takes on each levels are really going to bring back some life to these maps without killing the nostalgia associated with each.
Awsome job so far, I'm getting antsy in my pantsy. |

Sorry, thought you might have been mistaken since you were wondering why it wasn't like TFC...

I registered just so I could share my proverbial nutload with the dev team. This absolutely looks like some top notch stuff.

I'm pretty certain that there is space up there in the attic for you to build your SGs. It's just the perspective on the shot makes it look (a little) like the walls start right next to the hole. Is this what you mean?

So now it's not possible to camp enemy spawns as effectively with sentry guns? This is pretty detrimental to gameplay; Eat, you'd better scrap this version and get back to the drawing board...
Think about it for a minute though. It's going to be no fun for new players to run out of spawn and get immediately cut down by something they can hardly see. It's hardly a core piece of gameplay, and I'm sure that with the map changes you'll be able to find cool new annoying places to build your sgs |

It's a new game. Learn the new sentry gun positions in the map when FF is released. You can't expect every single thing from TFC to be carried over to FF. If that's the case why even bother making FF to begin with?

I'm gonna concur with the fact that building a sentry gun in a place where it can mow down everyone walking out of spawn unaware is not the most important part of the game. Sure, it was, and why not is still, fun to camp up there but Well won't lose any of it's nostalgy if that 'feature' is gone.

If I were you, I'd put more focus on where else I could put the SG to wreak even more havoc.
Or get over it, either way.

I didn't look through all of the posts to see if anyone else noticed this, but to me the medic's hand doesn't hold the shotgun right. http://www.fortress-forever.com/?a=media&id=ff_cz2_3 look at it, it looks like it's pressed as far back as it can go and it doesn't grip it right, and just like a lot of other people, I think the face could use some work too, otherwise everything else is awesome, espically Well.

just another observation i've made:
i know there was a significant time gap between the two screenshots being taken, but the difference in colour of the well water between the flag room and mid map makes me think that the water route might not even exist? |

I really like the look of this MOD and look forward to trying it out! I’m loving those in game shots. Keep up the good work.
